anti-endostatin/CollagenXVIII
Overview
Description:
Endostatin is a C-terminal fragment of collagen XVIII. It was discovered as a potent endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor. CollagenXVIII is a component of the basement membranes of vessel walls.
Host Species: Mouse Buffer: PBS Formulation: Purified mouse IgG Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml Stability: The antibody is stable at 4°C for 3 months. Keep at -20°C for long term storage. Cross-Reactivity: The antibody is known to recognize human endostatin and collagen XVIII. Other species not tested. Specificity: This antibody was raised against recombinant human endostatin. Itrecognizes both endostatin and its precursor collagen XVIII in immunostaining/immunohistochemistry and Western blotting detecting a ~19 kD band of endostatin. Immunostaining/Immunohistochemistry: Use 5-10µg/mlRT for 30 min. It works with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues with no pretreatment. Western blotting: Use 1-5µg/mlRT for 2 hrs Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application. Usage: This antibody is offered for research use only. Not for human use!
