Podoplanin is a well-recognized lymphatic endothelium marker, which can be used to reliably distinguish lymphatic vessels from blood vessels. This rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against human podoplanin extracellular domain. It works best for Western blot.
Host Species: Rabbit
Formulation: Rabbit IgG
Stability: This antibody is stable over a year when kept at –20°C.
Cross-Reactivity: The antibody does not cross-react with mouse podoplanin. Other species not tested.
Specificity: This antibody will detect human podoplanin on the surface of lymphatic endothelial cells and kidney podocytes by immunostaining or immunohistochemistry. The antibody also works in Western blotting, immunoprecipitation.
Immunoprecipitation: Use 2-5 µg/sample
Western blotting: Use 1-2 µg/ml
Immunostaining/Immunohistochemistry: Use 6-30 µg/ml
Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Usage: This antibody is offered for research use only. Not for human use!
